The Power to the People Open Mic Series is a free program designed to amplify the voices of underrepresented and emerging artists, particularly those from Black and Brown communities. Our mission is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their talents, whether through poetry, music, visual arts, or other creative forms. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
Each event takes place at local Black-owned and Brown-owned businesses, highlighting the importance of community collaboration. We want to invite businesses like yours to host an event, helping us connect local artists with the wider community while supporting a cause that enriches our cultural fabric.
